Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • ability to work in various environmental conditions including hot, cold, wet, and outdoor settings with exposure to high heat
  • valid driver’s license and compliant with NESL driving standards
  • willingness to learn and train for additional job duties
  • physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks
  • adaptability to fluctuating and overtime hours
  • strong safety orientation
  • effective communication and teamwork abilities

Job Qualifications

  • good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
  • strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • ability to work in all weather conditions and in a physically demanding environment
  • valid driver’s license and compliant with NESL driving standards

Job Duties

  • support plant operator at assigned HMA plant with a safety-first mindset
  • adapt to varying start and end times each day with fluctuating hours during production season
  • operate small equipment and heavy equipment to support operations
  • perform routine inspections, visual walk arounds, and maintenance of HMA plant to ensure safety and efficiency
  • learn and train for additional job duties such as operating HMA plants with possible full-time operating opportunities
  • demonstrate mechanical aptitude preferred
  • work in various environmental conditions including hot, cold, wet, and outdoor settings with exposure to high heat at the HMA plant
