Job Requirements

  • 1 year of previous kitchen experience
  • High-energy, proactive individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work (and have fun!) in a diverse team
  • Ability to work under stress
  • Attention to detail
  • Passionate about food
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a Food Handler's card within 7 days of hire
  • Finger/hand dexterity to operate kitchen machinery and knives
  • Ability to withstand changes in temperature, occasional smoke, steam, and heat, and work in a confined area
  • Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable bending, reaching, and moving quickly
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to speak or understand Spanish a plus

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate and uphold our company core values at all times
  • Accurately and efficiently cook pasta, sauces, and other hot food items according to company standards
  • Prepare and portion ingredients in advance to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Handle all preparation for items required in daily operations
  • Communicate effectively with the Cold Line and Food Expeditor to ensure seamless BOH workflow
  • Take responsibility for daily hotline operations and maintain general kitchen cleanliness
  • Follow all standard recipes, portion sizes, cooking methods, and kitchen procedures consistently
