Job Requirements
- Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand for long periods
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions
- Experience in high volume or fast casual dining preferred
- Frequent exposure to water and chemicals
- Ability to work with sharp utensils and hot equipment
- Ability to work in hot environments
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year related cooking experience
- Knowledge of soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry food preparation
- Ability to follow instructions and read policy documents
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HACCP standards
Job Duties
- Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions
- Communicate ticket times and potential issues to managers and servers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment
- Comply with HACCP food safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment and measure ingredients
- Prepare and handle fruits and vegetables
- Stock, date, rotate, and check product temperatures
