Job Requirements

  • Food preparation skills and HACCP knowledge required
  • Minimum 1 year cooking experience
  • Ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand for job functions
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions
  • Frequent use of hands in water and chemical solutions
  • Frequent use of sharp knives and hot plates
  • Ability to work in hot environments

Job Qualifications

  • Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Minimum of 1 year related cooking experience
  • Experience in high volume or fast casual dining preferred
  • Knowledge of soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry food preparation techniques
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and policy documents
  • Comfortable communicating with customers

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods by following recipes and product directions
  • Perform all station functions including fry, flat top griddle, pantry, and cooking eggs
  • Communicate ticket times and potential issues to management and servers
  • Provide high quality service to customers and associates
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
  • Operate kitchen equipment and measure, mix, wash, peel, cut fruits and vegetables
  • Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of food products
