Job Requirements

  • food handler's permit or willingness to obtain
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • basic cooking skills
  • willingness to follow food safety and cleanliness protocols
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties

  • prepares Hot Choice Buffet products, including carving and display cooking products, according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures
  • grills all items according to Golden Corral standards to ensure quality
  • ensures that every fried product is always fresh and hot
  • restocks items at the display cooking station if the buffet attendant is unavailable
  • assists guests with carved meat options if the carver is unavailable
  • completes use and follows the buffet production system to ensure quality and shelf life compliance
  • maintains correct temperature of all products during cooking, holding, and serving
