Job Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Hold a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card
  • Stand and walk for the duration of the shift with minimal breaks
  • Work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distracting conditions
  • Lift and carry 30 plus lbs
  • Communicate professionally and effectively under pressure and in high-stress environments
  • Organization and prioritization skills
  • Have good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
  • Bend, move quickly around the restaurant, and stop and wipe frequently
  • Self-motivation and ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Hold a Municipality of Anchorage Food Worker Card
  • Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a high-paced environment
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and manage waitlist efficiently
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menu guidance
  • Assist guests by answering questions about the menu and restaurant policies
  • Communicate seamlessly with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming host area
  • Handle guest concerns or special requests professionally and promptly
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining atmosphere
