Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host or maitre d'
- Experience with RESY guest management software preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent customer service aptitude
- Ability to engage guests positively
- Organizational and critical thinking skills to manage seating flow
- Ability to work collaboratively with management and team members
Job Duties
- Welcome guests, engage on table availability or wait times
- Use RESY portal for seating, plotting, and communicating to guests
- Direct team members on table needs and seating
- Walk guests to their seats
- Answer questions on 167's menu to guests
- Communicate with team on guest requests, allergies, or preferences
- Create notes in RESY and recognize recurring guests
- Maintain the maitre d' stand and merchandise
