Job Requirements

  • Must have or be able to obtain valid local and or state Food Handler and Alcohol Server permits
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and stretching
  • Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Strong team leadership skills
  • Ability to connect and communicate effectively with others
  • Must continuously seek growth opportunities

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service or hospitality
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid local or state Food Handler and Alcohol Server permits or ability to obtain them
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills for managing reservations and waitlists
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience
  • Impress guests with warmth, passion and care from arrival to departure
  • Greet guests warmly and enthusiastically upon entry
  • Manage party sizes, reservations, and wait lists while maintaining accurate wait times and restaurant flow
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide pertinent menu information
  • Answer telephone inquiries pleasantly and assist with takeout order handling including timeliness and payment
  • Thank guests as they leave and inquire about their experience
  • Assist servers by delivering exceptional service and maintaining a pristine environment
  • Clear and set tables promptly
  • Monitor and assist with delivery of beverages and food orders
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness by bussing tables and handling glassware, dishes, and cutlery
  • Resolve guest complaints with urgency, poise, and good judgment
  • Complete assigned opening, side work, and closing duties to support the team
  • Enforce guest identification and age restrictions for alcohol sales
  • Follow food and alcohol service safety precautions and procedures
