Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to greet guests warmly and provide exceptional service
- Effective communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic cash handling skills
- Team player mentality
Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred

- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests
- Welcome and warmly greet guests on arrival
- Manage the efficient and timely seating of guests to tables that best serve their wishes
- Promote and act in a manner consistent with the mission of SERG Restaurant Group
- Open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant when possible
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of their server's name upon seating
- Record guest names and party size and provide estimated waiting times when necessary
- Assign guests to tables suitable for their needs and according to rotation to ensure servers receive appropriate seatings
- Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service
- Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries or transfer calls
- Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, and serving staff to ensure dining details are handled properly and concerns addressed
- Inform guests of establishment specialties
- Receive and record dining reservations
- Inspect restrooms for cleanliness and supplies and clean when necessary
- Relay messages to servers and bussers
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
- Attend scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement
- Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guest needs and support restaurant operations
- Fill in for fellow employees to ensure guest service and efficient operations
- Take and prepare to-go orders
- Operate cash registers to accept payments
- Assist with preparing and serving food and beverages
