Job Requirements

  • 6 months to one year of food service or restaurant experience
  • Previous host or hostess and OpenTable experience in a five-star restaurant is a plus
  • Demonstrated excellent public contact skills
  • Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to interact effectively with guests, employees, and supervisors
  • Ability to maintain required standards
  • Maintain an upbeat attitude and positive, enthusiastic mindset
  • Timely arrival at work according to scheduled hours
  • Adherence to uniform and appearance policies
  • Ability to perform assigned tasks accurately and on time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests with five-star hospitality and courtesy standards
  • Oversee seating and server rotation when seating guests
  • Verify and make reservations via OpenTable
  • Maintain a waiting list when necessary
  • Perform other duties as required to exceed guests’ expectations in a five-star dining environment
