Job Requirements
- Ability to greet guests warmly and professionally
- Basic computer skills to operate seating and paging systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Customer-focused with a friendly demeanor
- Flexible to work daytime shifts only
- Willingness to assist with cleaning and organizing dining areas when necessary
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
- Familiarity with restaurant seating management systems is a plus
- Positive attitude and team player mentality
- Knowledge or appreciation of New Orleans culture and cuisine beneficial
Job Duties
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Manage the efficient and timely seating of guests to an appropriate table
- Recognize regular customers and call them by name
- Record guests' names and party sizes when immediate seating is limited
- Page guests using the Wisely system and call out names when tables become available
- Assist in clearing, cleaning, and sanitizing tables when necessary
- Ensure menus are clean, organized, and adequately supplied
- Offer entertainment and attraction suggestions for the local area
