Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED preferred
- good reading, writing, mathematical and communication skills
- able to interact professionally with other customers and team members
- able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- good judgment and decision making abilities
- able to spend 100% of working time standing, walking, and reaching
- able to push, pull and lift objects from a lower to higher position or move objects horizontally
- able to maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling while walking, standing or crouching
- able to climb and descend ladders, stairs, and ramps
- able to carry loads greater than 35 pounds frequently
- able to communicate clearly in the primary language of the restaurant
- able to hear sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
- specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Job Duties
- Live by a servant leadership philosophy to always serve others first
- understand and comply with all company policies, procedures, and operating standards
- comply with all federal, state, and local laws and ordinances
- provide a first and last impression for the restaurant
- maintain energy, enthusiasm, passion and pride throughout the shift
- perform the role of a host greeting customers with a genuine hello, smile, and eye contact
- manage customer seating and monitor wait times
- guide customers to appropriate tables maintaining comfortable pace and proximity
- hand clean menus to customers and explain chalkboard specials
- manage communication throughout the restaurant
- provide awesome service to customers
- maintain a do whatever it takes personality
- hold doors open for customers
- pull out chairs for female customers
- accommodate special needs of customers including senior citizens and large parties
- assist busser by clearing and wiping tables
- assist servers by refilling beverages
- assist bartenders by handling carry out orders
- complete assigned opening, ongoing, and closing sidework
- maintain a safe, sanitary, and secure environment
- notify manager of all customer complaints
- remain calm at all times
- perform other assigned duties by manager
