  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with calmness and courtesy

  • Knowledge of reservation management software is a plus
  • Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays as required by the restaurant's operation

Job Duties

  • Greet guests welcoming them warmly and creating a friendly atmosphere
  • Manage restaurant reservations efficiently ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely communication
  • Escort guests to their tables providing menus and ensuring comfort
  • Have a thorough understanding of the menu including ingredients and preparation methods to assist guests
  • Provide exceptional customer service anticipating guests needs answering questions and addressing concerns professionally
  • Collaborate with servers chefs and other staff members to ensure seamless coordination and excellent service
  • Handle special requests dietary restrictions and accommodations with attention to detail
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host area and lobby
  • Promote restaurant specials beverages and desserts to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
