Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
- strong organizational skills
- ability to maintain professionalism in busy environments
- capacity for strategic thinking in seating management
- reliable and punctual
- willingness to comply with hotel policies and procedures

- familiarity with table management systems such as OpenTable considered a plus
- ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Contribute positively to the team within the department
- prepare for all guest requests
- participate in on-going training
- organize seating through OpenTable to fill the dining room
- perform opening and closing duties
- maintain waitlists
- keep work areas clean and organized
- be extremely courteous to all customers and fellow employees
- report unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately
- maintain hotel equipment in proper working conditions
- any other duties assigned by your immediate supervisor
- think strategically with regards to sections, seating occupancy and rotation
- assist servers with side work, including cleaning, stocking, and rolling silverware
- comply with Valencia Hotel Group (and its affiliates) standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- maintain regular attendance in compliance with Valencia Hotel Group
- complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor
