Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read, write legibly, understand and speak English
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Available to work required schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
- Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
- Able to work in constricting areas
- Able to tolerate noise and bright lights
- Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded and noisy environments
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 100 pounds, and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to read, write legibly, speak and understand English
- Ability to work in fast-paced, noisy, and crowded environments
- Physically able to perform tasks including pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting up to 100 pounds
- Able to respond to visual and oral cues
- Familiarity with restaurant and casino operations preferred
Job Duties
- Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and staff
- Greets and makes guests feel welcome upon entering the restaurant
- Seats guests according to specified rotation requirements
- Maintains accurate seating and reservation documentation
- Monitors restaurant for table availability
- Keeps designated working areas clean and organized
- Assists wait staff and bus persons with duties such as refilling drinks and bussing tables
- Completes all assigned closing duties at the end of the shift
- Promotes current casino events and programs by providing guests directions to various casino areas
- Thanks customers, invites them back, wishes them luck, and facilitates easy re-entry into play
- Assists with additional duties as assigned by supervisors
