Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent preferred
Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation
Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening
Able to lift at least 25 pounds
Able to stand and/or walk for more than four hours per day
Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises
A work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks requiring basic safety precautions
Punctual and regular attendance is essential
Must maintain the highest standards of personal appearance and hygiene

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent preferred
Strong organizational skills to manage reservations and seating efficiently
Ability to deal effectively and professionally with the public
Excellent time management and multitasking skills
Ability to provide warm and welcoming hospitality to guests
Skills in working closely with staff to ensure smooth operations
Ability to quickly address and resolve guest concerns
Maintains highest standard of personal hygiene
Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors

Job Duties

Greet guests as they arrive with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
Escort guests to their tables, provide assistance such as pulling out chairs and presenting menus
Answer phone calls and inquiries regarding reservations professionally
Accurately record reservation details and special requests
Communicate special requests or VIP guests to appropriate personnel
Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance
Relay important information to guests, such as wait times
Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup
Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and customers to ensure proper dining details
Take to-go orders, checks, and ensure all items are given to customer correctly
Take room service orders and notify room service attendant
Perform daily transactions involving cash, credit cards, comps, and food vouchers
Assist in taking food to rooms for room service
Assist servers with drinks
Make daily floor plans of rotations for servers
Package takeout orders
Keep track of all servers to ensure guests are seated with an available server
Help bussers buss tables when needed
Ensure guests have a great experience by not overwhelming servers or bartenders
Place guests on wait list and notify them when tables are available
Confirm with front desk about amenities
Report punctual and regular attendance
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Serve as initial point of contact for guest inquiries
Demonstrate empathy and resolve issues timely
Build positive relationships with guests based on respect and confidence
