Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance
  • Must be able to follow company policies and safety procedures
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Must be available to work flexible shifts
  • Ability to assist with physical tasks such as moving furniture and crowd control

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Job Duties

  • Arrives on time dressed and groomed properly and checks in with servers and management at daily lineup
  • Maintains a clean and pressed uniform throughout shift
  • Maintains a warm friendly and interactive service atmosphere and supports all co-workers treating them with dignity and respect
  • Follows all company and safety and security policies and procedures and reports any maintenance problems safety hazards accidents or injuries to restaurant manager
  • May be asked to perform restaurant opening and closing duties
  • Provides immediate and timely service to members and their guests
  • Reports to and receives instruction from supervisor manager or director regarding daily events section map and cleaning assignments
  • Controls the flow of the restaurant by utilizing seating charts and reservation pages
  • Maintains a waiting list and coordinates seating in conjunction with the reservation list
  • Welcomes and acknowledges members and guests according to company standards and answers telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Escorts guests promptly to the appropriate table and offers assistance if necessary
  • Keeps the host podium clean and organized and restocks necessary supplies such as toothpicks matches glassware and napkins
  • Answers the phone takes accurate reservations and records information on the reservation page and seating chart professionally
  • Occasionally delivers drinks buses and resets tables or helps servers deliver food
  • Attends all required staff meetings and supports the team to reach common goals
  • Assists with crowd control and moves indoor outdoor furniture to accommodate restaurant needs
  • May assist with snow removal when needed
  • Available to work required shifts as per commitment signed in availability sheet
