Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 months to 1 year of related experience
  • advanced knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred
  • working knowledge of property safety and security procedures
  • must be service oriented with excellent customer service and sales skills
  • excellent communication skills in English
  • energetic and outgoing
  • excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • ability to follow instructions with attention to detail
  • team player able to work with minimal supervision
  • ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • basic math skills
  • ability to type 45 wpm
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and Opera preferred
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • ability to abide by payroll policies
  • willingness to travel as needed
  • availability to work Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with occasional weekends or holidays

Job Duties

  • Maintain proper set-up of the dining room
  • conduct daily roll call meetings with service staff
  • supervise all service personnel in absence of outlet manager
  • greet guests upon arrival and escort to tables
  • present menus and ensure guest satisfaction
  • communicate guest requests to service staff
  • maintain daily log book for shift communication
  • receive and record outlet reservations and special functions
  • provide administrative support such as maintaining personnel files and depositing guest checks
  • assist with food and beverage service as needed
  • use suggestive selling techniques
  • perform special projects and other assigned responsibilities
