Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 months experience in food service or applicable customer service required
- 1 year of food service experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Food Handlers Certificate required within 30 days
- ability to read and perform basic math
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to work cooperatively and discreetly with customers
- good communication and organizational skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- capacity to function efficiently under fast-paced conditions
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Serve patient meals
- assist with set up and prepare snacks accurately and timely according to procedures
- return to patient rooms to pick up trays and confirm satisfaction
- comply with hand hygiene and PPE requirements
- utilize basic diet therapy training to assist patients with menu selection
- maintain food safety requirements according to HACCP and department standards
- keep work area clean and orderly
- monitor, prepare, and deliver floor stock to designated units
- check and log refrigerator and freezer temperatures
- demonstrate excellent customer service skills at point of service and in resolving complaints
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
