- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 months experience in food service or customer service required
- food handlers certificate required within 30 days
- ability to read and perform basic math
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Serve patient meals
- assist with meal setup and prepare snacks
- return to patient rooms to pick up trays and confirm satisfaction
- comply with hand hygiene, patient identification, and PPE requirements
- assist patients with menu selection using basic diet therapy training
- maintain food safety according to HACCP and department standards
- keep work area clean and orderly
- monitor and deliver floor stock to units following FIFO
- check and log refrigerator/freezer temperatures
- demonstrate excellent customer service skills
- perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
