Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED recommended
- Some college experience or degree recommended
- Minimum of one year host or related experience required

- Energetic enthusiastic and motivated individual
- Must be able to speak comprehend read and write English
- Must have effective communication skills
- Ability to implement and uphold service standards
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
- Ability to interact with all associates and guests of the resort
- Ability to work well in stressful high-pressure situations
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
Job Duties
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival at the cocktail lounge
- Assist guests with seating arrangements considering their preferences and group size
- Manage the waitlist during peak hours providing accurate wait time estimates and keeping guests informed
- Maintain a tidy and organized hostess station including menus reservation books and seating charts
- Communicate effectively with servers and bartenders to coordinate seating assignments and ensure timely service
- Monitor the flow of guests anticipating and addressing potential service issues or guest concerns
- Assist with answering phone calls taking reservations and providing information about the lounge and resort amenities
