Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a positive first impression
- Attend daily menu classes to stay updated on current menu offerings and be knowledgeable about the dishes
- Review buffet options with guests and offer helpful suggestions
- Set up the dining area ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Remain at the door to welcome and direct guests to their tables
- Handle dining reservations efficiently with accurate information
- Assist guests with special service or arrangements to enhance their experience
- Practice proper etiquette such as pulling out chairs for ladies and using guests’ names when known
- Attend to guests’ needs during their dining experience and promptly address concerns
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to expedite table turnover
- Complete assigned daily and weekly side work for cleanliness and efficiency
- Be flexible to assist other positions like food runner or dining room attendant as needed
