Job Requirements
- ability to speak, read, and write english clearly and proficiently
- ged/high school diploma preferred
- 1-3 years experience in a customer service position
- 1-3 years experience in a food service establishment
- working knowledge of a pc/microsoft windows
- typing skills
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- understanding of menus, food and diets
- self-motivated and able to work independently
- ability to problem solve to meet customers' needs
- friendly and cheerful demeanor
- ability to handle stressful situations
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- provide a high quality dining experience to patients which meets their nutritional requirements and service expectations
- act as the liaison between patients and food service and nutrition through daily patient interactions
- coordinate patient nutritional needs between nursing units and dieticians as well as kitchen staff
- assist patients with room service when appropriate
- deliver meal trays to assigned patients
- maintain a friendly and cheerful demeanor reflecting the culture of healing and service excellence
- handle stressful situations with professionalism
