Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous hosting or hospitality experience preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • flexible availability to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality service
  • pass any required background checks and drug screenings

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience in a fine dining environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greets and directs guests to their tables based on availability or desired seating arrangements
  • helps create an overall enjoyable dining experience and promotes a safe, clean and neat environment for guests and other associates
  • exhibits exceptional communications skills and demonstrates flexibility and patience
  • maintains a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information
  • supervises the activities of food-service associates in the dining room to ensure proper customer service, food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
  • helps train new food-service team members
  • supervises the closing of the assigned dining room and ensures side work and station setup is properly completed
