Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet and direct guests to their tables based on availability or desired seating arrangements
  • Help create an overall enjoyable dining experience and promote a safe, clean and neat environment for guests and associates
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills and demonstrate flexibility and patience
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared
  • Supervise food-service associates to ensure proper customer service, food handling and sanitation procedures
  • Help train new food-service team members
  • Supervise the closing of the assigned dining room ensuring side work and station setup is properly completed
  • Demonstrate knowledge of emergency safety procedures and assist in evacuating guests during emergencies
  • Assist with service tasks including occasional bussing and food service while maintaining safety standards
  • Operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, and beverage machines as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments during special events or functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
