Job Requirements
- Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and proficiently
- GED or high school diploma preferred
- 1-3 years experience in customer service
- 1-3 years experience in a food service establishment
- working knowledge of PC and Microsoft Windows
- participates in orientation and continuing education
- typing skills
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- understanding of menus, food, and diets
- must be self-motivated and able to work independently

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Provide a high quality dining experience to patients
- act as liaison between patients and food service and nutrition
- coordinate patient nutritional needs between nursing units, dieticians, and kitchen staff
- assist patients with room service when appropriate
- deliver meal trays to assigned patients
- communicate effectively with patients and staff
- maintain a friendly and cheerful demeanor at all times
