Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid ServSafe Alcohol Certification and Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification may be required
- ability to interact professionally and effectively with guests
- capability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
- ability to perform necessary physical tasks
- compliance with safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant and/or sports entertainment industry
- previous host/hostess experience preferred
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety regulations, best practices, and sanitation requirements
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events
- ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ranging 6-12 hours
- ability to perform physical tasks including walking, standing, ascending/descending stairs
- ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
- ability to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed
Job Duties
- Greet guests in friendly and welcoming manner
- ensure a welcoming atmosphere at all times
- provide exceptional, friendly, and courteous service to guests
- manage reservations, ensuring accurate guest information including special requests
- provide accurate wait time estimates to guests
- taking consideration of availability and guest preference
- escort guests to designated tables in professional and courteous manner
- communicate effectively between front-of-house and back-of-house staff to manage seating
- effectively relay seating assignments and guest details to the servers
- communicate regularly to server team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- handle guest concerns and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- collaborate with supervisory staff to address issues that may arise
- ensure work area remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation requirements
- complete opening and closing duties including cleaning tasks, setup, preparation in assigned area, daily and monthly inventory
- collaborate with FOH and BOH team to promote a positive environment, smooth operations and timely service
- may assist with inventory, re-stocking item, and other restaurant duties
- perform other duties as assigned
