Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
relevant experience in hospitality or a related field preferred
flexibility to work long or variable hours
ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and 10 pounds frequently
capacity to stand for entire shift
excellent communication skills
ability to maintain professionalism and a friendly demeanor
adherence to hotel policies and standards
regular attendance
problem-solving skills
willingness to perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

High school diploma and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
ability to stand during entire shift
effective verbal and written communication skills
attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns
maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
comply with hotel standards and regulations
ability to handle problems by anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving them
show initiative by anticipating guest or operational needs

Job Duties

Greet and seat guests at appropriate tables in a timely manner
be attentive of guests' needs and assist in providing a pleasant dining experience
assist cashier in collection of money or credit cards from guests and servers as needed
know how to prepare cashier report at the end of the shift
pay out servers' and service attendants' tips if appropriate
know how to properly take reservations for outlets
ensure quality control of menus with regard to cleanliness and appearance
