Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 1 year hosting experience in restaurant environment
- ability to work required shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- effective multitasking skills
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a Host/Hostess within restaurants
- experience in luxury or fine dining a plus
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- knowledge of restaurant seating software a plus
- friendly and professional demeanor
- strong customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs
- seat guests and manage the seating chart
- monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
- perform opening and closing duties as needed
- assist others with side work including cleaning, stocking, folding silverware
- ensure knowledge of menu
- respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- assist fellow team members and other departments to maintain positive working relationships
