Job Duties

  • Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests
  • treats all guests to ensure complete satisfaction and aims to exceed expectations
  • takes names for waiting list
  • runs the floor plan board
  • observes and keeps track of table statuses
  • quotes wait times accurately to guests
  • cleans and organizes host area and menus
  • answers phone and restaurant questions
  • interacts with guests on arrival and departure for positive experience
  • transfers to-go orders if applicable
  • maintains restrooms and performs routine cleaning
  • sweeps foyer and entrance frequently
  • uses computer for reservations and POS
  • opens doors for guests entering and exiting
  • performs other duties as directed
