Job Duties
- Greets and seats guests, presents menus to guests
- treats all guests to ensure complete satisfaction and aims to exceed expectations
- takes names for waiting list
- runs the floor plan board
- observes and keeps track of table statuses
- quotes wait times accurately to guests
- cleans and organizes host area and menus
- answers phone and restaurant questions
- interacts with guests on arrival and departure for positive experience
- transfers to-go orders if applicable
- maintains restrooms and performs routine cleaning
- sweeps foyer and entrance frequently
- uses computer for reservations and POS
- opens doors for guests entering and exiting
- performs other duties as directed
