Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to walk and stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs as needed
  • availability for flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for guest service
  • ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • previous host/hostess or customer-facing experience preferred but not required
  • availability for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor
  • manage the seating chart and efficiently seat guests while balancing preferences and server sections
  • provide accurate wait times and ensure guest comfort during their wait
  • answer phones, take reservations, and manage guest lists
  • maintain a clean, organized host stand and entry area
  • communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and managers to ensure seamless service
  • handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and positivity
  • assist with special events and other duties as needed
