Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in restaurant or customer service environment
- ability to communicate clearly and politely
- strong organizational skills
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
- customer-focused attitude

Job Duties
- Provide friendly and responsive service to guests
- warmly greet guests on arrival
- manage the efficient and timely seating of guests
- promote and act in accordance with the SERG Restaurant Group's mission
- provide guests with menus and server information
- record guest names and party size and give estimated wait times when necessary
- assign guests to appropriate tables
- ensure guest satisfaction through communication
- answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries
- maintain contact with kitchen, management, serving staff, and guests
- inform guests of specialty dishes
- receive and record dining reservations
- inspect and maintain restrooms
- relay messages to servers and bussers
- thank guests upon departure and invite them to return
- attend employee meetings and suggest improvements
- coordinate with fellow employees to meet guest needs
- fill in for fellow employees as needed
- take and prepare to-go orders
- operate cash registers for payments
- assist with food and beverage preparation and service
