Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of Food & Beverage Cashier or equivalent cash handling experience
- Experience in high-volume food outlet
- Experience with touch screens
- Must tolerate varying conditions of noise, temperature, illumination and air quality
- May be exposed to smoke
- Ability to work in moderate to loud noise environment
- Prolonged sitting or standing and physical mobility
- Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, lift up to 75 pounds occasionally
- Eye/hand coordination
- Use of standard office equipment
- Willingness to work evening, weekend and holiday shifts
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education or experience requirements
Job Qualifications
- High volume restaurant management or supervisory experience
- Basic knowledge of computer software including Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of related experience
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must obtain a TAM/Alcohol Awareness Card
- Must obtain a Southern Nevada Health District Health Card
- Must obtain a Nevada Gaming License
- Minimum age requirement of 21
- Experience in similar resort settings preferred
Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly as they enter the venue
- Assist Captains, Assistant Food Servers, Bartenders and Food Service Runners with guest contact and table information
- Escort guests to tables using established rotation criteria
- Keep abreast of all Casino venues, hours of operation and menus
- Manage incoming reservations and venue floor using Open Table
- Check availability continuously
- Convey special orders, cake orders, special requests information to management
- Communicate needs of guests to kitchen and management and inform management of guest reactions and comments
- Frequently check on guests waiting to be seated to ensure they feel attended
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of work areas
- Operate POS system and handle money and credit transactions
- Notify manager of any guest concerns
- Perform other job-related duties as requested
