Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior ServSafe certification required within 60 days of hire
  • Availability to work varied days and hours with open availability
  • Ability to perform duties safely and maintain sanitation standards
  • Capacity to manage guest seating and handle customer service situations professionally
  • Physical ability to operate dining room equipment and assist with food service
  • Willingness to undergo training and adapt to job needs

Job Qualifications

  • Prior ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members
  • Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including full time and part time hours

Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet and direct guests to their tables based on availability or desired seating arrangements
  • Help create an overall enjoyable dining experience and promote a safe, clean and neat environment for guests and other associates
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills, demonstrate flexibility and patience, and possess an interest in people
  • Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared
  • Supervise the activities of food-service associates in the dining room to ensure proper customer service, food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Help train new food-service team members
  • Supervise the closing of the assigned dining room ensuring side work and station setup is properly completed
