Job Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and proficiently
  • GED or high school diploma preferred
  • 1-3 years experience in customer service
  • 1-3 years experience in food service
  • Working knowledge of PC and Microsoft Windows
  • Typing skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Friendly and cheerful demeanor
  • Ability to handle stressful situations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide a high-quality dining experience to patients which meets nutritional requirements and service expectations
  • Act as liaison between patients, nursing units, dieticians, and kitchen staff
  • Coordinate patient nutritional needs daily through patient interactions
  • Assist patients with room service appropriately
  • Deliver meal trays to assigned patients
  • Maintain knowledge and skills related to patient dietary needs and service protocols
  • Display a friendly and cheerful demeanor reflecting the culture of healing and service excellence
