Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand for extended periods
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- ability to understand and follow health and safety guidelines
- commitment to providing excellent customer service
Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to remain courteous and professional in a fast-paced environment
- previous customer service experience preferred but not required
- basic math skills for handling seating capacities
- reliable and punctual
- positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- seat guests according to restaurant policies and guest preferences
- manage the waiting list and inform guests of wait times
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area
- communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- assist with answering phones and taking reservations as needed
- provide guests with menus and respond to initial inquiries
