Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
  • Must be able to obtain RBS (alcohol) Certification
  • Must be willing to work hours that vary according to the event schedule
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • Two to three years working in a fast-paced bar or restaurant
  • Positive attitude and professionalism
  • Pleasant courteous demeanor
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Ability to make generalizations evaluations and decisions without immediate supervision

Job Duties

  • Report for scheduled events on time in proper uniform with neat and clean appearance
  • Report to assigned area in a timely manner
  • Maintain a friendly positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
  • Fulfill opening and closing duties as dictated by management
  • Greet and seat guests efficiently and professionally
  • Handle phone calls and reservations
  • Manage dining room seating and assist colleagues and guests
  • Maintain a clean neat and safe work environment
  • Communicate with supervisors and management regarding any issues or concerns
  • Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments
  • Perform and successfully complete tasks assigned by management
