Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
- Must be able to obtain RBS (alcohol) Certification
- Must be willing to work hours that vary according to the event schedule
- Must be able to work at a fast pace
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Two to three years working in a fast-paced bar or restaurant
- Positive attitude and professionalism
- Pleasant courteous demeanor
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to make generalizations evaluations and decisions without immediate supervision
Job Duties
- Report for scheduled events on time in proper uniform with neat and clean appearance
- Report to assigned area in a timely manner
- Maintain a friendly positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
- Fulfill opening and closing duties as dictated by management
- Greet and seat guests efficiently and professionally
- Handle phone calls and reservations
- Manage dining room seating and assist colleagues and guests
- Maintain a clean neat and safe work environment
- Communicate with supervisors and management regarding any issues or concerns
- Work as a team with fellow associates and other service departments
- Perform and successfully complete tasks assigned by management
