Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
- Must be able to obtain RBS (alcohol) Certification
- Must be willing to work hours that vary, according to the event schedule
- Must be able to work at a fast pace
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Must have two to three years working in a fast-paced bar or restaurant
- Positive attitude and professionalism required
- Orientation and on-the-job training are provided
- Must be pleasant, courteous, and enjoy working with people
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to remain calm in stressful situations
- Must be able to smile, maintain positive body language, and consistently provide positive guest service
- Must be able to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision
Job Duties
- Reports for scheduled events on time, in proper uniform, with a neat and clean personal appearance
- Reports to assigned area in a timely manner
- Must maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times
- Fulfills opening and closing duties as dictated by management
- Greets and seats guests in a timely, efficient and professional manner
- Handles phone calls/reservations, manages the dining room seating, and assists colleagues and guests
- Maintains a clean, neat, and safe work environment
