Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
  • Must be able to obtain RBS (alcohol) Certification
  • Willingness to work variable hours according to event schedules
  • Ability to work at a fast pace
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • Two to three years of experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant
  • Positive attitude and professionalism
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Ability to make decisions without immediate supervision

Job Duties

  • Reports for scheduled events on time and in proper uniform
  • Reports to assigned area in a timely manner
  • Maintains a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
  • Fulfills opening and closing duties as directed by management
  • Greets and seats guests efficiently and professionally
  • Handles phone calls and reservations, manages dining room seating, and assists guests and colleagues
  • Maintains a clean, neat, and safe work environment
  • Communicates issues or concerns to Supervisors and Management
  • Works collaboratively with team members and other service departments
  • Completes assigned tasks successfully
