Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to obtain CA Food Handlers Certification
- Must be able to obtain RBS (alcohol) Certification
- Willingness to work variable hours according to event schedules
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Two to three years of experience in a fast-paced bar or restaurant
- Positive attitude and professionalism
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to make decisions without immediate supervision
Job Duties
- Reports for scheduled events on time and in proper uniform
- Reports to assigned area in a timely manner
- Maintains a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
- Fulfills opening and closing duties as directed by management
- Greets and seats guests efficiently and professionally
- Handles phone calls and reservations, manages dining room seating, and assists guests and colleagues
- Maintains a clean, neat, and safe work environment
- Communicates issues or concerns to Supervisors and Management
- Works collaboratively with team members and other service departments
- Completes assigned tasks successfully
