Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to obtain California Food Handlers Certification
- Must be able to obtain Responsible Beverage Service alcohol certification
- Must be willing to work varying hours according to event schedule
- Must be able to work at a fast pace
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Two to three years experience working in a fast-paced bar or restaurant
- Positive attitude and professionalism
- Pleasant courteous demeanor and enjoyment in working with people
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Ability to provide positive guest service consistently
- Ability to make generalizations, evaluations, and decisions without immediate supervision
Job Duties
- Report for scheduled events on time in proper uniform with neat appearance
- Report to assigned area promptly
- Maintain a friendly positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times
- Fulfill opening and closing duties as directed by management
- Greet and seat guests efficiently and professionally
- Handle phone calls and reservations, manage dining room seating, assist colleagues and guests
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment
- Communicate any issues or concerns to supervisors and management
- Work collaboratively with team members and other service departments
- Perform and complete tasks assigned by management
