Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food handlers certificate required within 30 days
- Ability to work PRN on a rotating schedule including weekends and evenings
- Must comply with hand hygiene, patient identification, and personal protective equipment requirements
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Must be able to pick up and deliver meals and supplies throughout patient units
- Ability to commute or relocate to Flower Mound, TX 75028
- Willingness to work in person at the designated hospital location
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food handlers certificate required within 30 days
- Basic knowledge of diet therapy and food safety principles
- Experience in a food service environment preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service

Job Duties
- Serve patient meals, assist with set up and prepare snacks accurately and timely according to procedures
- Return to the patient room within a reasonable period to pick up dirty trays and confirm patient satisfaction
- Utilize basic diet therapy training to assist patients in selecting correct menu items
- Maintain food safety requirements according to HACCP and department standards
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring compliance with health department and facility requirements
- Monitor, prepare, and deliver floor stock to designated units according to FIFO and check for expired or prohibited food items
- Check and log refrigerator/freezer temperatures on nursing units
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills at point of service and in resolution of complaints or concerns
- Perform other job duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
