- physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods
- TIPS certification

- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or restaurant hosting preferred

- familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills

- physical ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the restaurant

Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using the hotel's reservation system
- escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- communicate estimated wait times and accommodate special seating requests when possible
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
- answer phone calls and assist with inquiries regarding hours, menus, and reservations
- coordinate with servers and managers to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction
- monitor dining room flow and adjust seating plans as needed
- assist with guest recovery and resolve minor concerns with empathy and professionalism
- follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
- regular and reliable attendance in conformance with company standards
- perform other duties as assigned
