Job Duties
- manage a wait list
- use paging system to notify guests when tables become available
- provide guests with estimated waiting time using wait time metrics
- seat guests based on preferences while balancing server sections
- hand out menus and inform guests of their server's name
- bus tables quickly and ensure proper presentation
- warmly greet guests and accommodate special seating requests
- answer phones promptly and provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance
- create positive final impressions by thanking guests and inviting return visits
