Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to provide a warm and welcoming environment
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • Basic familiarity with computer systems and reservation software
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Team player attitude

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Familiarity with reservation management systems such as OpenTable
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Positive attitude and a professional appearance

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner as they arrive at the restaurant with a smile
  • Seat guests efficiently and issue menus and wine list, drawing attention to BTG and cocktails page
  • Manage seating chart, ensure optimal flow of diners and even distribution by server
  • Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting list
  • Manage reservations using OpenTable, recording, printing and sharing important guest notes, including allergies
  • Management of the telephone system, responding to guest inquiries courteously, managing on-hold and call transfers
  • Manage take-out and delivery orders as directed by management
