Job Duties
- Greets and seats all guests in a friendly manner
- assists in maintaining the overall guest flow
- ensures seating service is rotated among server area assignments
- opens doors for arriving and departing guests
- remains visible in the front of house and faces the main entrance
- occasionally delivers food and drinks to guests when extra assistance is needed
- interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat environment
- completes assigned opening and closing side work
- participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables using team delivery
- observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guests' needs
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- explains and demonstrates usage of tabletop electronic devices to guests
- drives sales with suggestive selling
- accommodates special needs such as booster chairs and high chairs
- manages the waitlist when the restaurant is busy
- may serve guests in Carside To-Go or server roles occasionally
- fills out feature sheets
- assists in front of house maintenance including restroom upkeep, light cleaning, wiping windows, sani-bucket rotation, setting up expo line, emptying trash, rolling silverware, and maintaining curb appeal
