Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in hosting or reservations
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with reservation management systems preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Job Qualifications
- 1-3 years of reservations or host experience in fine dining restaurants or establishments of similar caliber
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Be organized and motivating
- Possess working knowledge of reservation management systems
- Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pursue hospitality as a passion and a profession
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a warm, friendly and sincere manner
- Provide a warm welcome and a fond farewell upon departure
- Answer phone calls and guest inquiries
- Have full knowledge of the floor plan and seating charts
- Manage the day to day reservations, walk-in and cancellations/no-show in the reservation system
- Seat guests in accordance to their preferences and under the direction of the Manager on duty
- Responsible for the overall presentation, cleanliness and organization of the assigned guest service areas such as the coat check, bathrooms, and other guest spaces
- Guide guests to assigned tables and ensure their satisfaction
