Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in hosting or reservations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency with reservation management systems preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of reservations or host experience in fine dining restaurants or establishments of similar caliber
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Be organized and motivating
  • Possess working knowledge of reservation management systems
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Pursue hospitality as a passion and a profession

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a warm, friendly and sincere manner
  • Provide a warm welcome and a fond farewell upon departure
  • Answer phone calls and guest inquiries
  • Have full knowledge of the floor plan and seating charts
  • Manage the day to day reservations, walk-in and cancellations/no-show in the reservation system
  • Seat guests in accordance to their preferences and under the direction of the Manager on duty
  • Responsible for the overall presentation, cleanliness and organization of the assigned guest service areas such as the coat check, bathrooms, and other guest spaces
  • Guide guests to assigned tables and ensure their satisfaction
