Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, and move throughout shift
  • Ability to speak, read, and understand instructions and policy documents
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base
  • Must comply with company cash handling and security policies

  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

  • Ability to read and interpret seating charts
  • Effective communication skills with guests and team members

Job Duties

  • Greets guests and seats them at appropriate tables according to customer service standards
  • Records customer reservations and seating times consistently
  • Maintains and updates seating charts for the restaurant
  • Sets up and maintains dining room areas before service
  • Assists with stocking silverware for shifts
  • Provides menu and beverage recommendations to guests
  • Oversees food and beverage delivery to ensure quality
  • Coordinates between kitchen and floor staff to uphold service standards
  • Performs cashier and busser duties as needed including cashing out guests
  • Follows cash handling policies and procedures strictly
  • Refills water and coffee and removes service items as per procedures
  • Supports team with tasks such as rolling silverware, expediting food orders, and cleaning during downtime
