Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Prior experience in customer service preferred
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Maintains consistent attention to the restaurant entrance and welcomes guests with a smile and appropriate greeting following HMSHost customer service standards
- Records customer reservations or seating times consistently providing high quality service
- Maintains and updates restaurant seating charts
- Properly sets up and maintains Dining Room areas before serving
- Assists with maintaining sufficient stock of roll up silverware for incoming shifts
- Seats guests and advises them on menus and beverage choices based on in-depth knowledge
- Oversees delivery and servicing of food and beverages
- Liaises between kitchen and floor staff to ensure guest experience meets company standards
- Performs cashier and bus person tasks as required including cashing out guest checks
- Adheres to cash handling policies and maintains proper security of cash
- Patrols assigned station refilling water and coffee, removing service items and condiments
- Performs other duties in team effort during downtime such as rolling silverware, expediting food orders, washing dishes, preparing food for To-go areas, cleaning and refilling table condiments
