Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a host or hostess in a high-volume restaurant
  • Familiarity with digital table management systems such as Seven Rooms
  • Excellent phone and in-person communication skills
  • Professional demeanor and polished appearance
  • Calm and capable in high-pressure situations
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Able to obtain a Food Safety Certification within 60 days of hire
  • Able to stand or walk for the duration of the shift
  • Occasionally lift or move 25-50 lbs
  • Visual acuity for reading screens, seating charts, and guest cues

Job Duties

  • Warmly welcome guests with confidence, professionalism, and a sense of hospitality
  • Manage table assignments and reservations using Seven Rooms or similar systems
  • Maintain calm and order at the host stand even during peak times
  • Answer phones and guest inquiries with clarity, patience, and professionalism
  • Keep the entrance and lobby area clean, organized, and inviting
  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth operations
  • Step up to assist with guest concerns, checkouts, or team support when needed
