Job Duties
- Greet guests with a smile and appropriate HMSHost customer service standards
- Record customer reservations or seating times consistently
- Maintain and update restaurant seating charts
- Properly set up and maintain dining room areas before serving
- Assist with maintaining sufficient stock of roll up silverware for shifts
- Seat guests and advise on menus and beverages with in-depth knowledge
- Oversee the delivery and servicing of food and beverages
- Liaise between kitchen and floor staff to ensure guest experience meets standards
- Perform cashier and bus person duties including cashing out guest checks as required
- Follow HMSHost cash handling policies and maintain cash security
- Patrol assigned station refilling beverages and removing service items
- Perform team duties during downtime such as rolling silverware, expediting food orders, washing dishes, preparing To-go food, and refilling table condiments
